Flower Baskets Arrive In Alderson

Flower   baskets   from   Blue   Ridge   Farm   now   hang   gracefully   from   the   lamp   posts   in Alderson.     A   project   of Alderson   Main   Street   and   the   Town   of   Alderson,   these   flower   baskets   are   lovingly   cared   for   through   out the summer by Ross Copenhaver.  His conscientious care is evident as they grow and grow! This   flower   basket   project   is   sponsored   by   people   who   enjoy   seeing   them   and   sharing   that   joy   with   others.     Those   who   contributed   to   the   project   this   year   include   Rich   and   Judy   Lohmeyer;   Christ   Our   Savior Lutheran    Church;    Randy    Burdette;    Jim    and    Melinda    Russell;    Canterbury    Construction    Management Services,   Bill   Canterbury,   Principal;   Ernest   Bryant,   Sally   Mueller,   and   Vivian   Shepherd   in   memory   of   their mother,   Mary   E.   Harnest;   an   anonymous   donor   in   memory   of   Layla;   the   David   and   Kathy   Keadle   Family; Roy   and   Linda   Loudermilk;   Mike   and   Anita   Tierney;   the   Old   Victorian   Inn;   Margaret   and   David   Hambrick; Doris Griffith; Jo Perez; and Roger and Susan Bowyer.  Alderson   Main   Street   President   Judy   Lohmeyer   said,   “The   photo   was   taken   just   a   week   ago.     The   baskets seem   small.      Just   wait   until   the   end   of   the   summer   and   you   will   see   how   big   they   get!     Thanks   to   everyone who helps sponsor this project.” (click photo for larger view)
