Alderson’s   greatest   football   days   may   only   live   on   in   memories   but   don’t   tell   that   to   the   kids   who   are learning   to   play   the   game   on   the   old   field.      Alderson   Police   Chief   Jeremy   Bennett   is   one   of   the   coaches and a big booster of this effort to give the youngsters some positive direction through sports. You   can   support   the   football   teams   by   purchasing   a   sign   like   the   one   pictured   here.      They   are   $20.   If   you would   like   to   help,   send   $20   per   sign   to Alderson   Main   Street,   P.O.   Box   117, Alderson,   WV      25910   and   we will   pass   the   money   on   to   the   teams.      For   each   $20   received,   we   will   put   “your”   sign   on   some   town-owned space for the duration of the season.  Chief   Bennett   says,   “The   kids   love   seeing   the   signs   in   the   yards   all   over   town!      They   tell   me   at   practice where they have seen new signs.” Thanks!
