TWO MORE BUSINESSES IN ALDERSON The   Town   of   Alderson   and   Alderson   Main   Street   are   proud   to   welcome   two   more   businesses   to   the   area.     Laxton’s   Automotive   and   Always   Vintage   have   opened   their   doors   to   customers.      There   will   be   a   ribbon- cutting   ceremony   to   recognize   their   presence   on   Thursday,   July   11   at   10:30   a.m.   at   Laxton’s   and   11:00 a.m. at Always Vintage.  Located   at   187   Chase   Street,   Laxton’s   Automotive   provides   a   much   needed   service   to   the   area.      Josh Laxton   will   repair   your   vehicle   and   tires   or   install   new   tires   if   needed.      He   offers   free   pick-up   and   return service inside the town limits for tire and lube services.  His hours are 9-5 Monday-Friday.  Laxton   said,   “I   just   grew   up   working   on   vehicles.      As   a   teen,   I   had   to   keep   my   own   vehicle   going   so   I learned a lot.”  ___________________________ Across   town   in   the   historic   business   district   at   the   former   location   of   Bridgewalk   Shops,   Lisa   Davis   has opened   “Always   Vintage.”      This   attractive   shop   is   a   combination   of   antiques   and   collectibles   and   finds similar   to   a   thrift   store.     There   is   a   wide   variety   and   surely   something   for   everyone.      Davis   said,   “Family   ties brought me to this area.”  She likes this kind of work.  Her hours are 9-3 Wednesday-Saturday.
