We had a wonderful reunion in 2005! I know you all would want to join me in thanking Irma for all the extra work she did and especially for the class booklet she prepared for us. We deeply appreciate all of the time and effort it took to prepare it. It is a great book of memories! Irma recently got married! Congratulations! She is Irma Cadle now! Let me know if you would like someone’s address or phone number. I have most of them. (Thanks again to Irma)

Memorabilia Needed

Does anyone have school letters, jerseys or anything that we could piece together to make a 1965 memorial pillow? Anything that refers to A.H.S and could be applied to a pillow. Irma has offered to make it, if she can get the materials. She wants to donate it to the Alderson High School memorial room. Thanks again, Irma!

4th of July Brochure

We’re planning to do a full page ad in the 4th of July brochure. It will include our 40th class reunion picture and a write-up about our class.

Alderson Alumni Park

Our class also purchased a brick for the Alderson Alumni Park sidewalk located on the Monroe side of town. You’ll want to see the park and view “our” brick when you’re in town. It’s located close to the old bridge on the Monroe side.

Class News

I do have some sad news to report; Dreama Light passed away last year. My dad and Karen’s dad are also deceased. Mrs. Skaggs’ husband died recently and she hasn’t been well either.

Helen Dosier, Dave Keadle, Jim Jackson, Grover Eggleston, Gary Farren, Jim Eskins, Carolyn Humphreys and Jim Russell have all had health problems. Our prayers are for their improved health. (These are the classmates that I’m aware of)

We will all have a wonderful time seeing our classmates and reminiscing about our days at Alderson High. The fellowship will be great and I’m sure everyone will have a fantastic visit.
