I Wanted to let everyone who had
planned to attend the Community Dinner, June 30 and enjoy a Tribute
to the Band, know that it will probably be next year, July 2013. The
DVD had successfully been made and several copies were made for
those wanting a little remembrance of the Band. Having spoken to
many people at the time, I know they had looked forward to the
program. I have not spoken to the 4th committee but I 'm sure they
would want the show to go on.
I wanted to thank all those who had supplied pictures for the
program, they were used and we enjoyed putting the DVD together. I
learned more than ever the Band was a wonderful part of Alderson
High Schools legacy.
I am so sorry that so many persons were affected by the storm and
lost so much. We just have to feel blessed it was not any worse here
than it was and keep those who were affected in our thoughts &
prayers.
