Asbury-Elsie Vivian Hanna Harrah, 97,
passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, June 17, 2011.
Born Mar. 4, 1914, at Asbury she was the
daughter of the late Hilbert and Lula Hanna.
She was well respected and served her
community for some 70 years and will be greatly missed. During
her illness Vivian had loving and dedicated caregivers including
the staff of Hospice.
Also preceding her in death, along with
her parents, were her husband, John Milton "Mitt" Harrah;
daughter, Patty Mall, and great-grandchild, Alashay.
Vivian is survived by: her daughter,
Margie Phyllis Linn of Columbus, OH and sons, Paul Milton and
wife Arlene of Wickenburg, AZ, Max Powell of Asbury, and Pat
McClain and wife, Jennifer of Covington, VA; grandchildren,
Charlene Kaminski of Illinois, Shannon, Shawn, and Jediah Harrah
and Sonya Burlingham of Arizona, Michael Harrah of Asbury, and
Melissa Garrett of Virginia; great-grandchildren, David Jr. and
Christopher Kaminski of Illinois, Ashton and Amity Credor,
Sheenan and Brady Burlingham, Joshua and Travis Ahern, Marta,
Susan and Jessica, Jade, Destiny and Mariah Harrall all of
Arizona, Sydney Harrah of Asbury, Jaime, Shannon and Holly
Garret of Virginia; great-great-grandchildren, Maria Garrett of
Virginia, Roxann Burlingham and Aaliyah Nejia of Arizona.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Saturday, June 25 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev.
Sammy Groves officiating and singing by Dot Estep.
Burial will follow at the United Methodist
Cemetery in Asbury.
