DANESE — Delbert Lee Brant of
Danese went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2012, at Greenbrier
Valley Medical Center following a long illness.
Born November 1, 1939, in Lewisburg, WV, to the late Ema Edward
Brant, and Mary Jack Brant.
Delbert was a 1959 graduate of
Alderson High School, Alderson, WV.
In addition to his parents Delbert was preceded in death by a
daughter Beverly Redden Morrell, a sister Evelyn Blankenship, and
his brother Edward Brant.
Mr. Brant is survived by his wife Karen Simms Brant, their daughters
Debra Brant of Meadow Bridge, Sharon Kupferer and husband Brian of
Phoenix, AZ, and Karen Martin of Danese, their sons Rick Redden and
his wife Stephanie of Rainelle, and Jesse Redden of Danese, and a
sister Phyllis Dawson and husband Dewey of Parkersburg, WV, along
with 5 grandsons, 3 Granddaughters, and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
He was retired from the auto industry where he was a factory worker
for General Motors. He attended the Faith Free Will Baptist Church
of Danese. He also enjoyed gardening and yard work.
The Family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 13, 2012, at the Faith
Free Will Baptist Church in Danese at 2 p.m. with a one-hour
visitation held prior. Burial following at Simms family Cemetery on
Loops Road in Danese with Pastor Allen Whitt officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Wallace and Wallace of Rainelle.
