passed
away
on
Tuesday,
November
21,
2023
at
CAMC
Memorial
Division
in
Charleston,
W.Va.,
following a short illness.
Born
June
24,
1961
in
Clifton
Forge,
Va.,
he
was
the
son
of
the
late
Jack
Elwood
Willey,
Sr.,
and
the
late
Ruth
Mae
Graham
Willey.
In
addition
to
his
parents,
he
was
preceded
in
death
by
a
son,
Christopher
Elwood
Willey;
his
sister,
Janet
Trolian
Rakes;
and
two
nephews,
Jason
Trolian
and
Paul
Richard
Honaker.
Mr.
Willey
was
a
former
carpenter
and
Master
Plumber
having
worked
at
H
&
L
Construction
Company
in
Alderson
for
many
years.
He
attended
Talcott
High
School
in
Talcott,
W.Va.,
and
Hinton
High
School
in
Hinton,
W.Va.
Mr.
Willey
attended
the
River
of
Life
Church
of
God
in
Alderson.
Log
home
building
was
his
passion.
He
loved
to
go
fishing,
kayaking,
and
camping.
He
also
loved
to
travel
when
his
health
permitted
him
to
do
so.
Mr.
Willey
enjoyed
working
on
a
multitude
of
creative
handcrafted projects and loved to spend time with his family.
Survivors
include
his
wife
of
42
years,
Teresa
Lynn
Cantley
Willey
of
Alderson,
W.Va.;
three
children,
Alana
Dawn
Blankenship
and
her
husband,
James,
of
Clover,
S.C.,
Alisa
Jane
Willey-Lule
and
her
husband,
Felix,
of
Forth
Worth,
Texas,
and
Jack
Elwood
Willey,
III
of
Alderson,
W.Va.;
11
grandchildren,
Brittany
Blankenship,
SPC
Logan
Willey,
Shyanne
Lule,
Gabriel
Lule,
Ryker
Lule,
Abigayle
Lule,
Mason
Willey,
Jacob Willey, Cailyn Willey, Scarlette Willey and Kaiden Willey; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial
services
will
be
Sunday,

26,
2023
at
3:00
p.m.
at
the
Lobban
Funeral
Home
Chapel
in
Alderson,
W.Va.,
with
Pastor
Anthony
Carter
officiating.
Burial
will
be
at
the
Alderson
Cemetery
in
Alderson
at
a
later
date.
