age
73,
of
Alderson,
peacefully
passed
away
on
Sunday,
April
16,
2023,
at
her
home.
She
was
born
on
June
16,
1949,
in
Alderson,
the daughter of the late Roy H, Bennett, and Virginia M. (Hanger) Bennett.
After
graduating
from
Alderson
High
School
in
1968,
Jenny
attended
Little
French
Beauty
Academy
where
she
received
her
A.A.S
in
Cosmetology.
She
attended
Bluefield
State
College
and
received
her
BA
in
education.
Later
receiving
her
Master
of
Arts
in
Education
at
Virginia
Tech.
She
went
on
to
teach
and
work
in
the
Cosmetology
field
in
all
capacities
for
forty
years
until
her
retirement,
she
was
a
member
of
Johnson
Memorial
United
Methodist
Church.
Jenny
also
served
on
the
Virginia
State
Board
of
Barbers
and
Cosmetologists
and
was
a
proud
volunteer
of
the
Kentucky/West
Virginia
Chapter
of
the
Cystic
Fibrosis
Foundation.
She
will
be
remembered
as
a
loving
mother
and
grandmother.
She
enjoyed
gardening,
reading,
and
teaching,
but
most
of all spending time with her family and friends.
She
is
survived
by
her
son
Richard
Arbaugh,
of
Naples,
Florida;
her
two
daughters,
Beth
Massey
and
her
Husband
Joe,
of
Alderson,
and
Jennifer
Mason
and
her
husband
Dana,
of
Lewisburg,
Scott
Keadle
and
his
wife
Kathy,
of
Louisville,
Kentucky
her
granddaughter
Bella
Arbaugh,
of
Naples,
Florida;
her
grandsons
Jacob
Massey,
of
Alderson,
Alex
Massey,
of
Fort
Bragg
North
Carolina,
Jack
Keadle
and
his
wife
Lizzie,
of
Smiths
Grove,
Kentucky,
and
Emerson
and
Dana
Scott
Mason
II,
of
Lewisburg;
granddaughters
Kati
Massey
and
her
companion
Russ,
of
Roanoke,
Virginia,
Liza
Keadle,
of
Louisville,
Kentucky;
her
great
grandson,
Afton
Keadle,
of
Kentucky
and
her
sister-in-law,
Jacqueline
Bennett,
of
Lewisburg,
and
many
loving nieces and nephews.
In
addition
to
her
parents,
she
is
preceded
in
death
by
her
loving
husband,
Barry
Lew
Keadle;
her
brothers,
Herschel Walker Bennett and R.B. Bennett; and her sister Nancy Maye Bennett.
