Henry

Lee
Burns
Thomas,
he
lived
a
life
marked
by
loyalty
to
his
close
friends
and
family,
quick-wit
with
an
innate
ability
to
elicit
a
genuine
laugh
when
it
was
most
needed,
and
unwavering
dedication to his dad.
He
is
survived
by
an
aunt,

WV,
an
uncle,
Owen
Thomas
of
Toledo,
OH,
and
several
cousins
-
including
Shawn
Steep
of
Alderson,
WV,
with
whom
he
shared
a
brotherly,
best
friends
bond,
as
well
as
a
community
of
friends
who
felt
the
warmth,
love,
and
laughter
he
so
freely
gave.
He
was
preceded
in
death
by
his
parents,
and
grandparents
-
Fred

B.
Thomas
of
Alderson,
WV,
and
Mona
Burns of Alderson, WV.
Andy
had
a
passion
for
all
things
athletic
and
sports
related.
If
he
wasn’t
listening
to
or
watching
a
ball
game,
he
was
participating
in
one.
He
grew
up
very
active
in
baseball,
basketball,
and
football
in
the
Alderson
community
as
well
as
throughout
high
school,
notably
playing
all
three
sports
for
the
Greenbrier
East
High
School
Spartans.
He
was
a
naturally
talented
athlete,
filled
with
dedication
and
determination,
often
inspiring
and
mentoring
others.
As
an
adult,
he
gave
his
time
to
coaching,
refereeing,
and
umpiring
multiple
sports
across
southern
WV.
He
will
be
remembered
for
his
distinct
sense
of
humor,
contagious
smile, infectious laughter, and all-consuming bear hugs.
In
accordance
with
his
wishes,
Andy
has
been
cremated.
A
memorial
service
to
celebrate
his
life
will
be
held
at
a
later
date,
allowing
friends
and
family
to
come
together
and
honor
his
memory
in
a
manner
he
would have cherished. Details of the memorial service will be announced as they are available.
The
family
wishes
to
extend
their
heartfelt
thanks
to
the
BARH
medical
staff,
especially
his
ICU
nurses,
for
their support and care during Andy's final days.
He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all those he touched.
