at

hospital
following
a
long
illness.
Born
at
East
Gulf,
she
was
the
daughter
of
the
last
Dewey
P.
and
Edith
Rader
Canterbury.
She
was
a
graduate of Alderson High School, Class of 1942.
She
was
a
former
employee
for
the
C&P
Telephone
Company
of
Beckley,
a
former
cook
for
Melrose
Elementary
School
and
retired
from
the
Acme
Supermarket
on
East
Main
Street
in
Princeton.
She
attended
the
Maranatha
Baptist
Church
on
the
Oakvale
Road
in
Princeton.
She
was
preceded
in
death
by
a
brother,
Paul
Canterbury;
and
sister,
Victoria
Jackson.
Survivors:
husband,
Cecil
M.
Mann;
daughters,
Mrs.
Edith
J.
Haynes
of
Princeton
and
Mrs.
Rondall
“Karen”
Lane
of
Charlotte,
N.C.;
sisters,
Mrs.
Phyllis
R.
Critzer
of
Baltimore,
Md.
and
Mrs.
Pearl
Furr
of
Montgomery,
Ala.;
and
four
grandchildren.
The
funeral
was

a.m.
Monday
from
the
Burns
Wornal
Chapel
of
the
Memorial
Funeral
Service
Directory
on
the
Athens
Road
in
Princeton
with
the
Rev.
Wallace
Smith
and
the
Rev.
Carl
Edwards
officiating.
Burial
was
at
the
Keaton
Family
Cemetery
on
the
Crooks
Run Road near Lindside.
