|
This a view; no one who is a celebrity who has betrayed their martial oath needs to apologize to me and by extension the public. This penance should be private, it is a total betrayal to publicly seek forgiveness and shows a complete superficiality in the apologist. He or she is trying to rehabilitate themselves in the public eye. This is reprehensible. The offender has stuck a spike in his families heart. He or she has crushed faith and hurt fragile love. He or she needs forgiveness from their life partner, not a television coronation. |
