Let me tell you something,
never will I ever make concessions to anyone because of my
ancestors. They created a great democratic capitalistic,
individualistic nation. They internally purged the scourge of
slavery from this land. As someone once said, maybe it as me, I do
not remember, it is darn ferocious to get rich but 20 times tougher
to stay rich. The same way with freedom, it is hard and a long
struggle to create a great nation, but 20 times harder to keep it.
My ancestors were just my ancestors, they are not me. I am just like
each of you are, a pure single stand alone individual, unless you
personally through your own sinister actions unjustly cost people
money, willfully limited opportunity or purposely ruined their
health and wealth, you owe no one anything except your family and
your God. That way each person stands on their own and my ancestors
do not provide unmerited favoritism to boast me forward nor the
chains of prejudice to hold me back. Good luck, may Horatio Alger be
our example and not any over blown, double speaking, phony, twisted
tongue politician. |
