They are tearing down the old mill at Palestine. Sharon McCallister, who lives right beside the old mill, took pictures and gave this description. “They are tearing down the old mill. I've tried to get pictures every day of the progress. They gutted the inside last fall and Sunday Aug. 27th, 2017, they tore the metal roof off. Should have that part finished this evening, August 30th 2017. It's bittersweet. An eyesore to some and a lot of history to others.”
