New Greenbrier River Access Point
Come
spring
there
will
be
a
new
Greenbrier
River
access
point
for
fishing
and
boating.
Using
the
existing
foundation
of
buildings
along
the
river
to
avoid
digging
in
the
bank,
a
platform
was
formed
and
poured
at
the
top
and
bottom
of
the
river
bank
and
stairs
constructed
between
the
two.
This
effort
was
a
partnership
between
the
Town
of
Alderson
and
Alderson
Main
Street's
HUB
group
using
funds
from
the
town
and
a
grant
to
the
HUB.
Wiseman
Construction
was
assisted
by
town
staff
and
volunteers
to
keep
costs
as
low
