Equipment Training And Officers Part 1 We   get   asked   a   lot   of   questions   about   our   equipment,   training,   and   officers.   We   are   going   to   start   doing   a weekly   "spotlight"   to   answer   some   of   these   questions   and   give   insight   as   to   how   we   do   our   jobs   and   what keeps us safe. Week   one   is   about   our   truck,   unit   723.   723   is   a   2015   Dodge   Ram   1500   SSV   (special   service   vehicle).   It   is equipped   with   front   facing   and   prisoner   area   cameras,   radar,   dual   rifle/shotgun   racks   and   ram   boxes.   It also   has   a   unique   "howler"   siren   that   emits   bass   waves.   This   unit   gives   us   the   ability   to   navigate   difficult terrain   and   is   equipped   with   a   towing   package   so   we   can   pull   our   command   center,   our   box   trailer   and   our ATVs.   Having   a   truck   gives   is   the   ability   to   haul   everything   from   flood   relief   supplies   to   cages   for   our animal control program. This vehicle is currently assigned to Patrolman Simmons and yes it's a HEMI!
