New Hardware Store In Alderson July   1,   2019   was   the   grand   opening   of      Rexroad   Supply   Co,   a   new   hardware   store.   The   store   will   be   in place   of   the   previous   True   Value   store   on   the   Monroe   County   side   of   Alderson   at   the   end   of   the   new bridge.   Rexroad   Supply   Co.   operated   by   Clint   Lunceford   will   be   opening   its   doors   to   serve   customers   that day With   being   affiliated   with   “Do   It   Best”,   they   will   fill   a   significant   gap   in   local   services.   Its   hours   will   be Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m.–5p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m.–2p.m. Mayor   Travis   Copenhaver   said,   “We   are   so   glad   to   have   a   hardware   store.   Now   we   will   not   have   to   go   15 miles   for   nails   or   other   small   items   while   in   the   middle   of   a   repair   project.   We   appreciate   Clint   and   his family opening this business.” There was a formal ribbon cutting at 11:00 a.m. on July 1, 2019 and a cookout from 11-4.
