Town Of Alderson Spotlight  7-20-2019 Today’s   spotlight   on   the   “A-Team”   is   Jessica Alderson.   Jessica   is   our   newest   team   member   and   comes   to us with a background from banking. Jessica   has   one   of   the   toughest   jobs   in   the   building.   She   is   the   front   door   of   the   administration   in   city   hall. She   gets   the   calls   grumbling   and   griping   and   always   keeps   an   upbeat   steady   calm   while   dealing   with them. Her   primary   function   is   utility   billing.   She   also   takes   care   of   business   licenses,   B   and   O   tax   collection, police   clerk,   and   most   recently   is   learning   the   job   of   court   clerk.   Just   like   the   rest   of   the   team,   she functions in many different capacities. Jessica   has   streamlined   several   processes   since   she   started   with   us.   One   of   the   most   notable   is   the   call tree   process   for   48   and   24   hour   cut   off   notices. This   process   saves   hours   of   tagging   and   re-tagging   doors, plus is more accountable by tracking the calls made by the system. Jessica   is   a   perfect   fit   to   our   team   due   to   her   great   ability   to   provide   excellent   customer   service.   She doesn’t leave any task undone. She very quickly picked up and took off with our Accufund system. Joey,   Jace,   and   Evie   Jo   thanks   for   letting   mom   make   us   “Alderson   Proud”   while   she   does   her   huge   part   in the “Gem of the Hills.”
