ALDERSON TOWN OFFICIALS SWORN IN

On June 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Greenbrier River Interpretive Center
in Alderson, Delegate George “Boogie” Ambler swore in the Mayor,
Recorder, and Council Members for the Town of Alderson for the next two
years.
Mayor Travis Copenhaver said, “This is a solemn moment. We are swearing
to uphold the constitution and laws of the United States and the State of
West Virginia and the ordinances of the Town of Alderson for the next two
years.”
Sworn in were Mayor Travis Copenhaver; Recorder Betty Thomas; and
Council Members Kelly Keadle Carpenter, Ann Hogsett Eskins, E. Sterling
“Tod” Hanger, Jr., Becky Keadle, and Charles M. Lobban, Jr.
Delegate Ambler said, “On behalf of the citizens of Alderson, I thank you for taking on these responsibilities.”
Mayor Copenhaver noted, “I have a great team here and I am looking forward to making a lot of progress in the
next two years.”
