“Improving The Community One Project At A Time” PO Box 117 -  Alderson W Va.  24910 © Alderson Main Street 2014 Bricktop Exhibit Opens in Alderson Ada "Bricktop" Smith is being honored in Alderson with an exhibit about her life and a concert with the music of her  times. The exhibit is currently showing at the Alderson Visitors Center until Sept 1. The Visitors Center is open Wed  thru Fri 10-2 and Sat 8-2. Both events are free to the public. The concert featuring The Robinson-Kenga Trio will be on the Alderson Memorial Bridge Sunday, August 9, 6:30 to 8 pm. Dinner will be available from the Alderson Women's Club.  Bricktop loved boas, so some will be available to wear or bring your own. You can also come in 1920's-30's dress.  And you're going to want to bring your dancing shoes! Charleston lessons will be at 6 pm.
