The 1950’s Fabulous Foursome! This   is   a   fan   site   of   the   original   Diamonds   of   the   1950s. All hailing   from   Canada,   they   made   their   way   to      the   U.   S., and   with   their   songs   and   energy,   endeared   themselves   to their fans forever.

These candid studio shots were from The Diamonds first album.

Left:   Mixing   was   a   little   different   in   the fifties.   It   was   a   matter   of   positioning around one mic. "Sound your A".

Right:   David   Carroll   is   seen   here   in   the foreground   discussing   an   arrangement. Bill   is   leaning   over   to   Phil   and   saying, "How'd   you   like   that   low   note?".   Judging from   the   looks   on   the   other's   faces,   not much.
