SIDNEY LAEL McCALLISTER Sidney McCallister, born June 18, 1937, passed away April 1, 2022 in Las Vegas. Sidney was born and raised in Asbury, West Virginia to Madeline & Murphy McCallister. He became a carpenter and retired in 2002 as a foreman for Sunset Homes Renovation Division in Hayward, California. In 2003 he and his wife Kay started their retirement in Pahrump where he took pride in his beautifully landscaped yard and his peacocks. Sidney is survived by his wife Kay, daughter Debra, his 6 brothers and 1 sister, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. Services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Choice Hills Baptist Church, 340 W. Mesquite Ave.
