A Former Publication Of Alderson High School “Alderson’s Longest Running News Media”
Old Morphs Into New Alderson’s New Elementarty School A Video Documentary
With permission from Wolf Creek Drone Photography, you can watch the repurposing of the Alderson High School building into the new Alderson Elementary School. These photos have been all over social media since the beginning of the work, but I wanted the video on the Aldersonian so it won’t move around or disappear. Although it’s not Alderson High School anymore, it was decided to leave the stone header over the front entrance, which has “ALDERSON HIGH SCHOOL” engraved there. A fitting decision that will honor all who taught there and the students who attended and graduated from the school. It might even be a cause for conversation and relative information about the high school, extending the times and lives of the past. Note: the pictures in the video go by quickly. Use your pause control to stop it as long as you need to examine the photos closer. Click here to start the video.
